AAoCT/DSYO leadership is very proud to recognize Kyra for this recognition by Central Texas Philharmonic.

We're thrilled to introduce Kyra Hong , the first ever recipient of the Charlotte Barbini Legacy in Arts Management Award. We presented this award to her last Sunday, just before Handel's Messiah. Congratulations, Kyra!

Kyra Hong is a composer, cellist, and multidisciplinary storyteller whose works have been premiered by the UT String Project Faculty Orchestra and Golden Hornet, and who previously served as principal cellist with the Dripping Springs Youth Orchestra and UT String Project Chamber Orchestra. She is currently studying Music Composition at UT Austin’s Butler School of Music and teaches and conducts with the UT String Project and Dripping Springs Youth Orchestra.

An enormous thank you to Charlotte for your many years of dedication and service to making the CTP what it is today!
