The Austin Philharmonic and the present 250 years of America through music 🇺🇸🎶. This concert spans the sweeping plains of Aaron Copland’s Rodeo, the era-defining ragtime of Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, and shares the joy of John Philip Sousa’s buoyant marches. The concert also features the world premiere of Taking Flight!, a brass fanfare by the Austin Philharmonic’s own Kitty Draper.
