We’re baaaack! 🎼🎻Join us for our first concert of the season as we celebrate the power of music to transport us across the world🌎. These masterworks were all deeply influenced by their settings, from a 19th-century Russian battlefield to the rugged mountains outside of Seville to a palace in ancient Babylon. Then come home to Texas, with a short, joyful symphony by a former member of the Austin Philharmonic.

Concert admission is free and open to the public. Donations are always welcome in person or through our website to help support future performances!

The Austin Philharmonic and the present 250 years of America through music 🇺🇸🎶. This concert spans the sweeping plains of Aaron Copland’s Rodeo, the era-defining ragtime of Scott Joplin’s The Entertainer, and shares the joy of John Philip Sousa’s buoyant marches. The concert also features the world premiere of Taking Flight!, a brass fanfare by the Austin Philharmonic’s own Kitty Draper.
