❄️ Parasite Eve 2 — Blizzard Chaser No Damage...

Well, if the game gives you some exploding tanks... use them to your advantage! 💥

Completing this No Damage battle requires not only sharp eyes, but also careful listening. You need to pay attention to your enemy’s sounds to know where he is and when he’s about to fall.

Baiting him toward the pre-damaged tanks and using Necrosis to reveal his position through the damage numbers can be a great shortcut to victory.

This battle took several tries, but the feeling of finally pulling it off was soooo satisfying! 🔥

Yeah, that probably would've been Clair's answer if you asked her for this Reel's caption...

As you know, Ehrgeiz: Brand New Quest Mode has a pretty brutal mechanic: after defeating the Final Boss, the character who lands the final blow is knocked out, leaving you to face the True Final Boss with your remaining character.

Sounds painful, right?
BUT! There is a little trick that can save you a lot of grinding.

If you let your defeated partner stay down and hit him a lot, the EXP distribution can make you gain levels incredibly fast when you exit that room. It's almost like an instant level-up boost!

One of those old-school quirks that can save you from repeating an entire journey. 😂

A mysterious dungeon... dangerous monsters... and me opening every single chest like there's no tomorrow. 😂

Luckily, this time it paid off with the Sandstorm Scroll! 🌪️

Exploration has always been one of my favorite parts of Dragon Quest. You never know when a hidden treasure will make your next battle a whole lot easier!

" You don't always need a complicated reason to travel with someone. Wanting to be with that person is reason enough."

The story of Ipsen and Colin has always been one of my favorite moments in Final Fantasy IX.

On the surface, it's just a simple tale about two friends. But it's really Zidane's way of telling Garnet that some journeys don't need a grand purpose. Sometimes, choosing to walk beside someone is reason enough.

Madain Sari is filled with unforgettable moments. It's where the game begins to unravel the truth behind Garnet's origins while revealing some of Gaia's greatest tragedies. The mystery surrounding her past, the weight of her destiny, and Zidane's quiet support make this one of the most emotional chapters in the entire adventure.

It's scenes like this that remind me why Final Fantasy IX is so much more than an JRPG. It's a story about friendship, love, identity, and the people who give meaning to our journey. ❤️

Those hand movements when the girl falls... uff, pure SquareSoft FMV quality.
I remember getting kind of scared by this scene back in the day, and for some reason, by the woman crying in the abandoned house at Dryfield.

Parasite Eve 2 starts heavy, and this transformation is where the game tells you that you can't trust anybody when ANMCs are involved.

SquareSoft truly knew how to blend survival horror with RPG mechanics, creating an atmosphere that still holds up today. Every new area kept you on edge, never knowing who,or what,was waiting around the corner.

Money is never enough when it has to compete against what your heart truly enjoys. No matter how meaningless your passion may seem to someone else, never stay with someone who doesn't support or understand your dreams, for any reason.
And never, ever let someone kill your dreams.

The joy of walking that road is what makes achieving the dream worthwhile. If you don't enjoy the journey, you'll rarely make it to the destination.
Gilbert is so wrong... All he sees are dudbears, lamps, and his own interests.

Monique is the kind of passionate crafter who genuinely loves her daily life and takes pride in making lamps, no matter how meaningless that might sound to others... even to the player.
She stands her ground and defends both her beliefs and her love for her work. But for some people, that's still not enough.

Will Gilbert change as the adventure goes on? Probably... He still needs to see more of the world and meet new people before he realizes what he's been refusing to understand.

Games like Legend of Mana are filled with little truths that stay with us long after we stop playing❤️

Party splitting! ⚔️

I love optimizing my routes in tactical JRPGs! Sending the right squads to defeat enemies around the map with ease is a huge part of the fun.

Bertrand goes to the front line, Jeanne as the damage dealer/finisher, and Marcel covering the flank.

Then we have Colet for easy pathing and Jean as the lancer... I'm not really a big fan of Jean, but luckily his replacement will arrive soon enough. 😂

Jeanne d'Arc makes every battle worth thinking about! 🛡️⚔️

In what is probably my 10th playthrough of The Legend of Dragoon (and my first time playing Severed Chains), I realized something...

I’ve always beaten this Elite Soldier purely through luck. 😅
Once he uses his Clone ability, three copies appear on the screen and you have to attack the real one.
For years, I’ve just been guessing and hoping for the best.

But now I’m wondering...
Is there actually a way to identify the real one ? 🧐
