Hey Tanglewood Forest/Castlewood Watercolor Adventures group! How about starting the weekend right and doing some sketches of the bridge at Tanglewood Forest park tomorrow morning? Let's say around 9am before it gets too hot. You can bring watercolor, colored pencils, a regular pencil or pen - any medium you'd like to use! Bring a blanket or a foldable chair to sit in, a beach umbrella if you are planning to sit in the sun, plenty of water and let's start drawing!

Hi Neighbors! Unfortunately, right after I started this page, my Facebook was hacked and my account deleted. I am still planning on teaching watercolor to all willing to spend a couple of hours sitting in shade and experimenting with color 💛 sorry if my account being hacked caused you any inconvenience! Hopefully it will all be ok from now on and we can start scheduling our first meeting!

Some of the potential locations will be added to the comment section. Generally, the location should accommodate a group of people safely away from traffic. Shade is a preference.

Welcome! The intent of this group is to organize a group of neighbors who would like to make some sketches of our neighborhood every once in a while. Watercolor is the medium of choice, but you don't have to stick to it, you do you! There will be a few posts about the recommended materials, but please feel free to let me know if you don't have any and we will figure it out. Also accepting suggestions of the neighborhood features to get around and draw.
