We tried The Austin Epicure in Westlake for the first time and it did not disappoint. Equal parts planning session, inspiration break, and creative reset…with great food (Mandy had chicken salad sandwich and I had the smash burger with a cookie finisher) beautiful details, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. Safe to say we’ll definitely be back.

Sometimes the most productive meetings don’t happen behind a desk.

We used ChatGPT to have a little fun creating this image since the weather wasn’t exactly cooperating & we were hustling but the Round Top Mercantile is the real deal— one of our favorite places to grab a homemade sandwich and a bag of chips when you’re on the go but still want a great lunch.

We tried new-to-us, new-to-Austin and while the pics don’t quite do it justice, the food absolutely does. Hand on my heart, it was so good. We split the turkey sandwich and the smash burger and I’m still thinking about both. And the fries… oh my.

Very cool, easy vibe — and if you’ve got littles, the outdoor space and play area make this an easy yes!

I made a quick run to two of my go-tos in Richmond, VA while visiting family: Crossroads Art Center and West End Antique Mall. Both delivered. Hard not to start calculating U-Haul rental prices to haul half of this back to ATX. Inventory scouting never really turns off.

Celebrating the holidays at a new Austin opening we’re genuinely excited about—and it exceeded our expectations. We hosted an intimate TPC holiday dinner at Van Horn’s: fresh doors, a full room, and a truly gorgeous space. Watching art leave our hands and become part of a place where people will make memories never gets old. Again bravo ! Go check them out (and look up while you’re there).

One of our favorite long-standing Austin holiday traditions: wandering the local maker markets and leaving with a bag full of perfect gifts.

If you need stocking stuffers, host/teacher gifts, or “I saw this and thought of you” finds—this is the move. Art prints, candles + scents, ceramics, tea, cards, hats, funny little patches/stickers… genuinely something for everyone (including the person who “doesn’t want anything”).

We love seeing Austin creatives show up in a big way—and we’re always taking notes on new makers to follow, collect, and share.
