ANCESTRAL WOMB HEALING

The womb space is exquisite technology, made from flesh and blood.

As humans, we were all born from the womb of women.

The womb is the matrix of all creation.

She carries the imprint of all of the experiences a person has lived, the joyous and the sad, the painful and the ecstatic ones.

Because the matrilineal mitochondrial DNA is passed from mother to daughter in an unbroken line, learning about your great grandmother’s life and death trajectories can provide you with invaluable insights about the stories and experiences that shaped patterns in your family.

Fertile Ground Within, an online 6 week womb wisdom immersion is open for registration!
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be guiding a deep dive on the mysteries and science of the feminine starting on July 1st.
Fertile Ground Within is a trauma-informed, ritual based holistic container to support women in self-nurturing practices that encourage trust in the innate wisdom of their bodies.
We will explore together topics on ancestral womb healing, fertility awareness, reconnection with our natural cycles, herbal allies for hormonal wellness, radical self-care practices, inner medicine making and the full embodiment of the feminine expressions.

Loving My Human Female Sexual Anatomy
I have to admit that it took me a long time to deeply feel, understand, love and connect with this part of my body.
This is so because of a collective baggage of hundreds of years of cultural shaming and oppression of the human body, specially the female sexual organs.
While I have learned the “basics” of human reproduction at school and undeniably felt the effects of sexual hormones since I’ve got my me**es, it wasn’t until I had an unwanted pregnancy and abortion in my early twenties that I learned about my cervix, while opting for a copper IUD as an anti contraceptive.
After 10 years of wearing an IUD, I decided that I wanted to prepare for a planned pregnancy and I took the device out.
From that point, I finally got to study the female anatomy and physiology in depth, discovering stunning beauty within myself and seeing it mirrored all around me by other female bodies.
In my practice as a feminine embodiment coach, it is not surprising to encounter other women who are unaware of the infinite beauty of their anatomy and physiology.
That is why I have decided to start speaking publicly about those subjects since about one year ago.
I believe that our bodies are sacred, that pleasure is a birthright and that every woman deserves to be educated and fluent in reading their body signs.
I will be posting more information about the feminine anatomy, physiology and cyclical nature in here.
For now, just take a moment to look through the images in this post and observe the artistic interpretations of the womb, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, va**na and broad ligament (cl****is, v***a and l***a are not shown is those).
I specially selected those images because of the appearance of the broad ligament. Sometimes I see artistic drawings of the female organs and it makes me feel that the womb is just there “floating” in space. The visualization of the broad ligament helps me to see how all parts are connected to each other and also that the womb is supported, having a direct contact with other organs in the pelvic area.

Mothering is a labor of love 💗
Over the past four days, all the while co-leading a retreat with multiple ceremonies, I got a good, intense dose of “terrible two’s” strong determination from this little one.
I was lucky enough to have the support of his nanny for a couple of days, his grandma, his papa and also from my friends Nick and Sofia , which allowed me to be present for the community in between tears and tantrums. Oh the joys of motherhood ;) I am not complaining, just acknowledging the challenges of mothering, a task that takes so much commitment, patience, compassion and love, and how is is really true that it takes a village to raise a child.
I am grateful that I get to expose my young son to this aspect of myself, as a community leader, working on co-creating sacred spaces for healing and expanding the wisdom I carry from our lineages.
My prayer is that all mothers may receive the support they need and absolutely deserve, so they can rest and be able to share all of their gifts and creativity with the world, beyond the role of mother.
Mother’s Day is everyday.
