Hello McCoy Maniacs!!
We want to thank you guys for an incredible Halloween season! This was our second year opening up our home as a walk-through haunt for others to see. We had decorated in the past years but nothing to this scale.
We were blessed to be featured on Chicago Home Builders list, Kidslist, WGN TV list, and we even got to have a episode filmed of our haunt by Seasonal Montage- coming in 2026! We won third place in City of Aurora, IL, Government haunt your house contest!
We raised $224 which will be used to purchase items for our 9th annual Winter Wear Because We Care- Homeless Veterans Winter Drive and had 2 packs of socks and 2 winter hats donated! By the way we are keeping this winter Drive open until Dec 13th- reach out if you want to donate.
The amount of love and support we received from the neighborhood has been amazing!!
We used 16 stake lights, 18 extension cords, tons of triple A and double A batteries and a whole lot of gates!
We enjoyed being outside and talking too many of you as you came by and we hope that you enjoyed your private tour from Dylan!
We've already seen several of you guys driving by looking super depressed because we took the decorations down!! Don't worry we'll be back next year.
We are already brainstorming ideas for next year. If anybody wants to donate AAA or double a batteries we would be grateful. 😆 🤣
