REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY: Simple as 1-2-3-4-5! The Denver Actors Fund sent out, yes, $12,345 in medical support in April, helping 17 Colorado theater artists (on stage and off) dealing with broken bones, ambulance rides, skin disease, an emergency surgery and, our favorite: We helped a stage manager in her 80s to procure some new hearing aids so that she can keep stage managing! Combined with our affordable mental-health care program and our PAWS Fund for emergency vet bills, we have now sent out $86,000 for the year, by far a DAF record through four months. The need is great but, thanks to you, we have been able to answer every call.
Thatโs because our partnering theater companies kept revenue coming in. For the month, a record 10 of you (!) sent us donations from your recent efforts in amounts ranging from $175 to $5,700. It all adds up. The honor roll for the month:

We re also soooo grateful to entrepreneurial angels like Ronan Viard, who raised more Han $800 for the DAF at his recent cabaret at Vintage Theatre.
It matters because overall, need has far outpaced revenue in 2025. These things always tend to even out in the end, but, through April, we have sent out $18,000 more than we have taken in for the year. We rely on DAF nights around town for most of our revenue, so please plan your theatergoing around nights that benefit the DAF.
