As we take a moment to reflect on CabarSlay: Uplifting Q***r Voices, our hearts are full.
What began as an idea became an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, laughter, community, and love. To everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, donated, shared a post, bought a raffle ticket, purchased merchandise, or simply cheered us on along the way—thank you.
A special thank you to Community Baptist Church of Warrenville for opening your doors and welcoming us into your space. Your generosity and hospitality made this event possible, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
Thank you as well to our sponsors, vendors, partners, volunteers, and the many individuals who believed in Stagecraft Collective Theatre before we had even produced our first show. Your support helped turn a dream into a reality.
To our cast, production team, and volunteers: thank you for trusting us, sharing your talents, and helping create a space where people could laugh, cry, celebrate, and feel seen.
And finally, thank you to Youth Outlook for the work you do every day to support LGBTQ+ youth and their families. We were honored to partner with you and help further your mission.
Pride is more than a month. It is a reminder that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and loved for who they are. Safe spaces matter. Representation matters. Community matters.
At Stagecraft Collective Theatre, we believe the arts have the power to bring people together, tell important stories, and create connections that transcend our differences. We remain committed to building a safe, welcoming, and inclusive home for performers, artists, technicians, students, and audience members of all backgrounds.
This was our first production, but it is only the beginning.
Thank you for helping us keep the arts alive, uplift voices that deserve to be heard, and build a stronger community together.
With gratitude,
Stagecraft Collective Theatre
