Vintage Theatre is an award-winning performing arts theatre in the heart of Aurora Cultural Arts District. For over 20 years, Vintage has offered programming that delights, challenges, and entertains our audiences. We produce blockbuster Broadway favorites on our 145-seat main stage, regional premieres, intimate dramas, and off-beat comedies in our 67-seat black box theatre, and a wide variety of

cabaret performances on our cabaret stage. Vintage Theatre is proud to be an active community member by providing educational programming and outreach, touring neighboring communities, and producing a New Play Festival to develop new work and engage the audience through ongoing dialogue with us. As a diverse community, we recognize that theatre is a force for change and are committed to welcoming and including the voices of all people in our storytelling and work.

Now he’s back taking on Max Bialystock in our 200th show, The Producers!
Austin once dreamed of being a pastor, a lawyer, and even running a B&B! But he always felt drawn to the stage!

90’s Nostalgia on point!
Borrowing Funny takes us into the 90’s comedy scene in this world premiere show!
In the 1990’s, national comic headliner, Tennille Kincaid, is confronted mid-comedy show by hometown comedian, Jacey Weisz, for stealing one of her favorite jokes. After being fired on the spot by business-centric comedy club owner, Reuben Wyatt, and being replaced by overconfident slacker, Byron Keithly, Jacey makes the bold gamble of calling in a local police deputy, Officer Jill Hail, to arrest Tennille for larceny and possession of stolen property. In an effort to save his weekend, Reuben suggests they fight over the material in the first ever head to head comedy kumite, a no holds barred contest that will usher in a new era of modern stand-up comedy.

Leonard E. Barrett Jr., beloved star of the acclaimed Unforgettable, returns to the Vintage Theatre with something rarer: the Nat King Cole you never heard on the radio. This time, Leonard turns to the deep cuts — the ballads tucked inside beloved albums, the songs fans discovered late at night with the record player and a drink in hand.
Joining Leonard is Jeremiah Otto — the dashing musical director whose artistry lights up Candlelight Dinner Theatre and Vintage Theatre.
