Hi everyone! I'm posting to see if anyone is interested in getting together next week on Monday around 6 o'clock at the Cinemark in Aurora to go out to post flyers and posters at local businesses and around the community. Anybody that wants to come is welcome! Also if you would like to bring your own supplies that would be great. We would need staple guns, tacks, poster board, markers and paint markers. I know there was a article today on a local news website but that doesn't mean much of anything. Remember it is "news". Anyone that cares for this park should stand up now! We need to get together as a community and fight for what we want! We need to remember that the officials in Aurora are "elected officials" and they are elected by the people. Therefore, when they are not putting the people's interest first and are looking to push their personal agenda we need to realize at the next election we need to consider new leaders. I'm asking each of you to write each of the executive team members and board team members. To make a change you need a change of heart. By you sharing your stories and reasons for wanting to keep our park here you can change hearts! Talk to your neighbors and your friends. Ask them to do the same. It's not too late but it needs to happen now. We can no longer wait. We've supported this park through the years so do we not deserve a vote? The park has changed our lives and for the better. This property was voted nationally as one of the most beautiful parks in the country. When I walk across the street, past the flashing light, down the hill by the row of trees and flowers, through the gates across the brick lawn nothing but memories flood my mind bringing pure joy to my face. As I look beyond the wave pool into the hillside, I think of happy times as a child. I come here to escape. I want that feeling for generations to come. So please stand with us on Monday to fight! There is power in numbers. We can make this area destination with our park by sharing it with Cedar Point. Isn't that the point of business? To grow and utilize your assets. By having this park we create a trifecta effect. Cedar Fair wins, WE win and so does Aurora and Bainbridge. See you Monday!

Honestly, the best thing to do is to go around and get signatures. Post signs in your home town as well as Aurora, Streetsboro, Solon, etc. Also the need for letters directly to Cedar Fairs board. All these things combined. The Mayor up there is dirty. She has her own agenda. There is no good reason for this park not to be open. It makes money. It's beautiful and family oriented. It gives teens a place to go as well as become a productive citizen by learning responsibilities in a job. Get a group together and do these things. They need to know their are PEOPLE that are in it. They just didn't disappear. Thank you for your support! It is possible. WE deserve this. The community deserves this. OUR WATER PARK NEEDS TO BE OPEN!

Hi everyone! I had a radio interview today with the local radio station! The gentleman I had the interview with will be contacting me again on Tuesday. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that we have support at these meetings Monday and Tuesday in Aurora and Bainbridge! Please attend if possible! Voice your concerns! Let YOUR VOICE be heard! Call the Mayor and the Trustees out! They are put in office to protect our interests! What are they doing to protect our interests? NOTHING! These are elected officials! They need reminded of that! NO SECRET AGENDAS! NO OFFICIAL'S PERSONAL INTERESTS! They have the opportunity to be remembered for something great. WHAT THE COMMUNITY WANTS! OUR FAMILY WATERPARK! The word needs to get out there! Not everyone knows what is going on. I'm also now questioning Bainbridge because they may have put restrictions on the park that should and need to be changed! WE need to talk to both Bainbridge and Aurora's Mayor because there is something dirty going on. There IS NO REASON TO NOT SUPPORT THE WATERPARK! I feel that the Mayor has her own secret agenda and did not share information about the park and made the decision herself. I'm also wanting to know what possible restrictions Bainbridge has that would keep the park from moving forward and expanding because there was to be a phase 2 expansion to the park. We as a group need to be at these meetings questioning them. These restrictions should have been changed but if they weren't it was out of selfish controlling reasons. These groups are to be FOR THE PEOPLE! NOT AGAINST! NOT CONTROLLING! AND TO BE FOR OUR DESIRED INTERESTS! Keep sharing, post signs and if you can get to the meetings please do! Thank you so much!
