My goodness! What a pleasant surprise! The weather is so perfect (right now anyway), the wind is just right and I’m so happy to see this many out so early! I must say, I was not expecting this! Come on out too!

All vendors are welcome to set up at any point in the day and as long as the weather is this nice, I don’t intend to shut down until the people stop coming!

$10 to setup and free to peruse the wares! No need to stop at the box office just park wherever you want and make yourself comfortable! And as always, free drinks for our vendors 🥰

Looks like we are having a swap meet!

Even though I wanted to go home last night, my car decided it wanted to stay for the swap meet and the rain didn’t (I certainly didn’t expect that). Is there anyway we can swap out the weather man now?)

And here I thought I was waking up early to check the weather before heading out…..but there’s folks already here. I guess it is what it is.

At least let me wake up a little bit before you show up. I haven’t had a chance to clean the bathrooms yet 😝 🫣😅

Update: it’s 7am and I SEE BLUE SKIES AND CLEAN BATHROOMS! lol just come in and get parked and I’ll come get you signed in as soon as I can! $10

*Fast Pass opens at 6:00pm

Reservations for the Single-Feature Sunday (Breadwinner only) will be up as soon as this post is done!

The Box Office opens Sunday at 8:00pm (fast pass not available)

Also, we will ATTEMPT to host the Saturday Swap Meet tomorrow but we will NOT be open for the movies that evening.

Instead of opening the swap meet at 7am, expect an hour delay (8am-12pm). Just know, rain or shine, it will likely be a short day thanks to the unpredictable conditions scaring folks away. Then again, we had a great turnout the last time it rained.

At 7am tomorrow I will announce our decision here either way. If we do cancel, I will send an email to our vendors. If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected] as well.

Speaking of vendors (weather permitting) we hope to have baby chicks and ducklings 🐥 along with our usual small animals.

Plus Thrift Happens just opened a new store! They will be here showcasing some of their items that you can also find at 23 W Locust (Aurora).

Lastly, forgive us for not announcing the movies sooner. Up until today, the whole weekend looked like it was going to be a wash out 😕 at least we got today and Sunday.

Can’t wait to have Eastbound & Down as our featured guests for the car show! It’s going to be a great time! Free to the public from 10am-2pm with a BBQ celebration in between the car show and the movie!

It’s opening weekend for Toy Story 5 and gates open at 6pm as usual. The second feature still TBD

Camping options and luxury tents available to out-of-town car show participants who want to be the first in line for the free cruise-in the next day!

I have much to post and so little time to do it! Countdown to June 20th is underway and every day that gets closer to it, I get a little more excited. I spent today wrapping up the details for the June 21st Cruise-In to Route 66 and I absolutely had to add some of the photos from my trip.

These pics still don’t do the beauty of this laid back road trip justice at all. But I was happy to be able to take it slow, and still take it all in and also take photos along the way. If June 21st is half as pretty as it was today, it will be the perfect ending to an already perfect weekend!

I’ll post more info as it comes to mind but for now, I figured I would just add some photos of what we will see on the cruise-in Sunday as well as some sneak peaks of the awards you could win along with some random pics of the drive-in that I took over the weekend.

Sorry if I keep promising an informative email. If you’re expecting that, just know that I am a bit behind on all my paperwork right now. Honestly it is due to my own desire to make everything look professional. I know car shows don’t require professional newsletters, but I would rather not send something if it doesn’t encompass the level that this show is going to resonate with. In fact the only thing I’m certain is there will never be a car show quite like this one! And lastly, cheers to the rain! Now go go away…. but I thank you for such a beautiful day!

WE WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY 4th.

Friday and Saturday Double Features $ 10 per person and $8 per person on Sunday single feature. 6 and under free.
After the first 4 people in the car, SUV, or pickup @ $10 per person, we will give a 50% discount for additional people.
Everyone must be seated inside the vehicle.

The weather has decided to cooperate with us tonight! Come on out and enjoy a nice night under the stars. This will be our last weekend with these movies. Monday, we will announce what will be playing next.

1st Feature - The Star Wars: Mandalorian and Grogu (duration: 2 hours 5 min)
