Grammy Award–winning artist Larry Gatlin is one of country music’s most respected singer-songwriters, best known as the frontman of the legendary Gatlin Brothers. With a career spanning seven decades, Gatlin has written and recorded some of country music’s most iconic hits, including “All the Gold in California,” “Broken Lady,” and “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer to You).” The Gatlin Brothers’ signature harmony-driven sound helped define the country and gospel crossover of the late 1970s and ’80s, earning them multiple Grammy Awards, ACM Awards, and CMA honors. In addition, Gatlin was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019.
Larry Gatlin’s powerful vocals, thoughtful songwriting, and heartfelt storytelling continue to captivate audiences nationwide. In addition to his music career, Gatlin has enjoyed success on Broadway, making his Broadway debut as Will Rogers in the Tony Award–winning musical The Will Rogers Follies (1991–1993) and appearing as a Confederate Captain in the original Broadway cast of Frank Wildhorn’s The Civil War (2000). He has also written the music and lyrics for professional regional theatrical productions, including Texas Flyer and Quanah, with Quanah aiming for its Augusta premiere in 2027.

After Hours is coming back!! Thank you SO much to everyone who came out and made night one absolutely electric. By popular demand, we're doing it again on July 24th from 7:30–11PM at The Imperial Theatre. Live music from Jeremy Froebel, $6 drinks all night, and the same downtown Augusta magic. Don't miss it!
