It’s back to school time!!! School is one of the best playgrounds you can be on as an artist because there’s so many clubs that you can join which allow you to study your crafts.

Tarika Holland is a Davidson Fine Arts class of 2019 Alumna, and she was a proud member of the Poetry Club and the International Thespian Society. ✍🏾🎭 These clubs allowed her to sharpen her skills, share her art with an audience, and be surrounded by like minded individuals. This school year, take a chance and put yourself out there!!! Join a club or two.

’s art did not start off the way that you see it now! Social media has made comparison more prominent, but we have to realize that none of the greats started off with the greatest things… all they had was a vision and the courage to try. Work with what you have and you’ll be blessed with more!
