Since 2003, Garden City Jazz has partnered with the City of Augusta and various media outlets to present jazz music in a family-friendly atmosphere. During the summer (and now year-round), folks young and old, from near and far converge on Riverwalk Augusta and other venues for a relaxing evening of music and art under the stars. UPDATE: We’ve got a small indoor space in South Augusta (30906) and an outdoor location downtown near the lake (30904). Still awaiting confirmation for outside 30815 and 30830. … might even have a spot in Blythe. Where y’at?!

Over the next several weeks, the Garden City Jazz team will be working toward a fall concert experience in South Augusta. We'd love to get some feedback as we go about the planning process. We are thinking about the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend (or early October), but are pretty flexible.

We are always open to non-traditional concert spaces, so we are all ears. Let us hear from you - what's a nice spot on the south side for an intimate jazz experience?

Indoors? Outside? We're open to it!

Augusta Recreation and Parks will kick off its summer series at Exchange Club Fairgrounds) this coming Sunday, June 7.

For many years, The Mighty Peanut (Rufus Britt Jr.) has provided real-time updates on Sundays, letting listeners know what to expect at ... weather, talent, lineup, parking, etc.... all while playing the old school hits on .
