Hello again. ❤️ It’s been a while.
The last couple of years have brought a lot of change. I stepped away from my massage practice as I began the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of New England, and I am now entering my final year.
I’m so happy to share that I’m back in Augusta and slowly returning to the work that I love.
My time in physical therapy school has only deepened my appreciation for the body, movement, healing, and the importance of meeting people where they are. I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned back into the work I began through Gayle Chung Healing Arts.
It seems fitting that my first post back is also about challenging myself through movement.
This fall, I’m taking on two races while raising money for two causes that are meaningful to me:
🏃♀️ The Dempsey Challenge — September 19 in Lewiston
Supporting individuals navigating cancer and the loved ones supporting them through their journey.
🏃♀️ The Maine Marathon — October 4
I’ll be raising funds for Maine iCan Bike Camp, which helps individuals with disabilities experience the independence and joy of learning to ride a bike.
I’m a little nervous! But so much of these past few years has been about stepping outside of my comfort zone, navigating challenges, and continuing to grow. I’ve learned that sometimes it is through discomfort that we experience the greatest transformation.
To thank you for supporting me and these causes, I’d like to offer a chance to win a 90-minute massage in the comfort of your own home. 💛
✨ Every $10 donated = 1 entry
✨ Donate at least $10 to both fundraisers = 1 additional bonus entry
Whether you donate, share, cheer me on, or are simply still here after all this time, thank you.
It’s good to be back. ❤️
With love and peace,
Gayle
