Have you ever wanted to shake your bacon with a bunch of friends? How about while dressed like a witch and decked out in lights?
If you answered "yes," then great news! Rehearsals start in June, and we'd love to have YOU join us!
If you answered "maybe, but I'm not sure dancing is my thing," then I also have great news for you! I addition to dancing, we have numerous ways you can get involved, from creating decorations for our annual Witches Ball to kick off spooky season to year-round parades to handing out candy and managing props! There's something for everyone who wants to be a part of the magic ✨
Here's some FAQs!
✨"Can I participate even if I have mobility challenges? What if I feel too old/young?"
- Yes! We have volunteer opportunities for everyone of all ages and abilities, and if dancing is where your heart is, we have a dedicated choreography team who will work with you to find a modification that fits your unique skills
✨"I'm worried I won't be able to make all the practice dates."
- That's fine! We have a 50% attendance policy, so if you can make half the practices and the mandatory dress rehearsal in October, you can dance! We even have bonus make up dates for when you want a bit of extra help or when life simply gets a little too busy. Worst case scenario, you can always bow out of the official dance performance and simply participate in a supporting role or walk in parades. We have plenty of non-dancing witches who have just as much fun supporting and participating beyond the big stage.
✨"What's the dress code?"
- For most rehearsals, just clothes you can move in. For dress rehearsals, performances, and some parades, WITCH! We have witches of all color schemes and elements. We have witches who crawled out of the swamps, rose from the oceans, or fell from the stars. Whatever your witch-style is, we'd love to see it and help your vision come to fruition (though our events are all family friendly, so we keep costumes PG).
✨"Do I have to know magic spells?"
- Nope! As long as you're not planning on burning us at the stake, you're welcome in our ranks! Please note that we are an accepting group, so there is a zero-toletance policy for hate and bullying.
