The Augusta Elks Lodge hosted a spectacular Mahjong event, successfully raising over $2,300 for The Jessye Norman School of the Arts and Elks Charities. We extend our gratitude to CSRA Lifestyle Magazine for their sponsorship and truly appreciate the generosity of our prize donors and vendors. Join us for Bams and Bingo on May 30th!! Wondering how mahjong bingo works? With your paid registration, you will receive a mahjong themed bingo card when you check in. During the event, you will be able to mark off squares on your card as you play Mahjong! Instead of numbers, bingo cards feature Mahjong-related objectives, such as "someone at the table wins with a jokerless hand," "someone exposes 3s," or "someone makes a specific pair". These are just a few examples of some of the various squares you will see on a variety of different bingo cards. When you get a bingo, you get to put a ticket in for a chance to win fabulous prizes! Bams and Bingo! A fun Mahjong night benefitting Jessye Norman School of the Arts and other Elk charities. Dinner and social time at 5pm with play starting at 6pm. $25 (plus 1.75 SignUp Genius processing fee) includes dinner, open play mahjong and one bingo card that could win you fantastic prizes. This event is co-sponsored by CSRA City Lifestyle Magazine. Pre-payment at registration is required to reserve your spot.
