The Iowa State Fair’s annual County Fair Day was a little wet this year, but that didn’t stop us from joining in the fun! A few of our board members made it to the big dinner, but with the change of venue and large crowd, we unfortunately missed getting a group photo.

A huge thank you to the Iowa State Fair for bringing together and celebrating county fair boards from across the state. We always enjoy the opportunity to catch up with fair friends!

We did manage to find Queen Olivia and loved hearing all about her exciting last few days at the fair. Olivia, you continue to make Audubon County proud, good luck tonight! 💙👑

🏁 ONE LAST TIME! 🏁

The checkered flag is almost ready to fly on the 2026 season, and we’re going out with a bang this Friday night at Audubon County Speedway!

Bring your family, your friends, and get ready for one more night of fast cars, great food, and cold drinks before we close out another incredible season.

💰 Racers: If 65 or more cars sign in Friday night, 1st-place payouts will increase to $1,000! Let’s pack the pits and make our Season Finale one to remember.

🏁 Race Schedule Update 🏁

After further consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to reschedule tonight’s races. Instead, we will move forward with our next scheduled race on Friday, August 7.

Drivers & Pit Goers:

* We have kept the original sign-in sheets from tonight.
* Drivers: Please check in at the pit shack as usual and verify your name on the sign-in sheet. Your driver’s fee will be used for our next race.
* Pit Passes: We’ll verify your name on the sign-in sheet with your driver’s license.

🎆 Fireworks Update: The fireworks display is rescheduled for tomorrow night and will begin promptly at 10:00 PM.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and flexibility. While we wish the weather had cooperated, Mother Nature had other plans. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the track on Friday, August 7, for a great night of racing! 🏁

🚨 Race Night Update! 🚨

As of now, we ARE racing tonight! 🏁

If anything changes due to weather or track conditions, Facebook will be the first place we announce it, so keep an eye on our page.

Until then, make your plans to join us for a great night of racing! The food will be hot 🍔🌭, the b**rs will be cold 🍻, and the racing will be exciting!

💨 The horsepower starts small, but the excitement is huge!

Calling all little race fans! Every child through the front gate Friday night will receive a FREE Hot Wheels car with a special number on it. 🚗💨

Before the races begin, we'll draw a winning number, and one lucky kid will take home a remote control car! Be sure to get to the track early, grab your Hot Wheels car, and get ready for some high-speed fun at the Audubon County Speedway.

This race, Hot Wheels Hustle, is made even more special as we honor the memory of Mike Bruch. His love for the sport and commitment to our community will live on through the smiles of the kids who will take part on Friday night. We are incredibly grateful to him and his family for their generosity and are proud to continue this tradition in their honor this week. ❤️

👥 Drivers Meeting: 7:10 p.m.
🏁 Racing Starts: 7:30 p.m.

🍔 Per usual, the concession stand will be serving up all your grill favorites, and the 🍺 b**r garden will be stocked with ice-cold drinks.

Grab your family, bring your friends, and come experience one of the most exciting traditions of the Audubon County Speedway. We'll see you at the T-Bone Race!
