🏒 Auburn Ice Hawks — Parent & Player Equipment Safety Reminder 🏒

As we get ready for the 2026–2027 hockey season, the Auburn Ice Hawks want to make sure all of our players are properly protected every time they step on the ice.

Parents & players — please take a few seconds to check your helmet and cage before every ice time.

✅ Cage: Make sure it is properly secured INSIDE the J-clips — not sitting on top or outside of them.
✅ Chin Cup: It should fit snugly against the chin, not hang below the jaw.
✅ Straps & Snaps: Make sure everything is properly adjusted, fastened and functional.
🚫 No tape or modified straps should be used to hold equipment in place.

This isn’t just about following rules — it’s about protecting our players.

Parents, please make equipment checks part of your pre-ice routine. A quick check before your player hits the ice can make a big difference.

Check it. Adjust it. Secure it. Then hit the ice! 🏒

Thank you for helping the Auburn Ice Hawks make player safety a priority all season long.
