Announcer Tom Harris went on the track for the Grandparents Race. He didn’t fall! He had a great view of the spills. He finished the race! He kept running (maybe he thought it was a mile race).

Inspiration! On Sunday we had our annual Grandparents Race and this year we added a race for GREAT Grandparents. We didn’t know if anyone would sign up but nine did! The rule was no running but let’s face it, that rule had no chance! Walter from Tacoma proved to be the fastest Great Grandparent in the World, which we can say since this is the only known race for Great Grandparents in the World. Mike from Renton wasn’t running, his goal was to finish and he did, just two weeks after heart surgery! His wife of 64 years was waiting to hug him at the finish line. They all enjoyed ice cream in the winner’s circle and we loved seeing them having fun! Enjoy the video and please share it with friends and family.

Saturday was Teachers Appreciation Day so of course we had races on the track for the teachers! They all received a gift card and Ice Cream for participating!
