“My name is Zoë Bennett and I have been dancing since the second I was born it feels like and even before AIM was ever officially a thing - thanks to my sisters. I instantly knew dance was what I wanted to do, especially with the encouragement from my sisters - aka my dance teachers. I don’t know what my life would be without them or without AIM. I am eternally grateful for everything they’ve done and continue to do for me because I wouldn’t be the dancer I am today without them- my biggest inspirations. From fighting Sam while she ties my bun 10 thousand times too tight, to not sitting still while Kennedy re-attempts to put on my eyelashes for what feels like the millionth time, to now doing it all by myself and using all that I’ve learned on others. I would like to thank - my teammates, my friends for putting up with me, and for our everlasting friendships and McKinley for always being the one to go over dances with me; I am so glad I get to share this whole life with you. Thank you to AIM for making me excited to come to classes and always have a fun time. A special Thanks to my family for the unconditional support, and to Sam and Kennedy for the endless opportunities, believing in me, reminding me of the dancer I am, and pushing me everyday. I hope I’ve left an impact within AIM the same way it’s impacted me. Grateful is an understatement. Arts In Motion is my everything and will continue to be. QUEEN Z OUT ✌🏻… for now.”

“I have been with AIM since I could walk and it has been the best experience of my life. I am so grateful to have been around all of these amazing people and create such special bonds. We would have so much fun in class and there has never been a moment where we weren’t smiling and laughing (when we should’ve been doing our dances). I am extremely thankful for Miss Sam and Miss Kate - who I luckily also get to call my own sisters. From always being surrounded by dance growing up, to being able to dance for them has been the best experience. They have taught me everything I know I wouldn’t be the dancer I am today if it wasn’t for the both of them. They have always been so supportive of me and have allowed me all of these great opportunities..and now I hope to follow along in their footsteps. AIM will always hold such a special place in my heart and I am so glad I am able to call it my second home.”

“I have been dancing for 5 years, however this is my first year with AIM. My favorite memory at the studio has to be all of our classes. Everyone was so welcoming and there wasn’t a moment without laughter - so it’s hard to choose a favorite. I would also have to say my favorite style of dance is Contemporary and Hip Hop, I can’t choose between the two! And for all the new and younger dancers; do not be scared to ask for tips and help during classes - that is how you grow as a dancer.”

We’ve been quiet over here on social media - but we have been BUSY! 💥

In the Fall AIM was given the opportunity to go mobile and bring dance to kids in the Union Springs community again. Our first year as AIM at AJ was a huge success and we are so grateful to be a part of something so wonderful. ✨

Kids smiling ear to ear, confidence radiating from the stage, and dancing with friends — it doesn’t get much better! Congrats to all of our AJ kids, we are so proud of you! And a huge shoutout to our AIM Highschool crew for running behind the scenes. It takes a village and we are so blessed with ours! 🐺💜
