We’re so excited to be the Auburn home base for The Canyons Endurance Run! It’s great to be a great weekend.

🏃‍Auburn Endurance Weekend is Here!🌄

From April 24–26, 2026, endurance athletes will be taking on one of the most iconic trail routes in the country—right here in Auburn, the Endurance Capital of the World.

📍 Start/Finish: High Street, Auburn
⏰ Race Start: Friday, April 24 at 9:00 AM
⏰ Race End: Sunday, April 26 at 7:00 AM

Participants will travel through the scenic canyons of the American River, crossing landmarks like No Hands Bridge and tackling the challenging terrain from Robie Point to Driver’s Flat and back. Expect steep climbs, fast descents, and incredible views throughout the weekend.

🚓 What this means for our community:

Increased pedestrian and runner traffic on trails and in town
Possible delays near High Street and the surrounding areas
Limited parking in the downtown corridor

✅ Safety Tips:

Drive cautiously and watch for runners, especially near crossings and trail access points

Plan ahead if traveling through downtown Auburn

Stay hydrated and be mindful of changing weather conditions if you’re out enjoying the trails
