Letters to a Willow Tree:
Letter I:
It may seem at times
that you rarely get to witness
beautiful change,
but the way you remain,
roots deep in soft ground,
branches fully alive in the air,
is its own form of
slow, beautiful direction,
set in motion, holding ground
through rain and wind.
The landscape remembers.
and your steadiness and gentleness matter,
as movement and stillness
find rhythm around you.
You are free to be in process here.
Letter II:
It may seem at times
that you rarely get to witness
beautiful change,
but the way you remain,
roots deep in soft ground,
branches fully alive in the air,
is its own form of
slow, beautiful direction,
set in motion, holding ground
through rain and wind.
The landscape remembers.
and your steadiness and gentleness matter,
as movement and stillness
find rhythm around you.
Your presence here is not in vain.
