Harbor Sounds Chorus Choir singing a cappella barbershop music in Midland, Bay City, and Saginaw. We rehearse in Auburn on Wed @ 7 pm. Come sing with us!🎶😎

Harbor Sounds Chorus, located in Auburn, MI, is a non-profit a cappella choir open to singers of all genders, ethnicities, ages, and musical backgrounds. Founded on Sept. 29, 1940, this choir serves as the Saginaw-Bay Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) and frequently sings throughout Michigan's Tri-Cities area with performances in Midland, Bay City, Saginaw, Auburn, and Freeland. Although Harbor Sounds is a barbershop chorus, this choir sings a diverse musical repertoire including Broadway, pops, jazz, sacred, patriotic, and Christmas music. Until 2018, the BHS was an exclusively all-male organization, and Harbor Sounds was limited to male members. In June 2018, when BHS opened its doors to members of all genders through the Everyone In Harmony campaign, Harbor Sounds responded. We are proud to say that all genders are welcome to join and sing contemporary barbershop music with us! A normal music calendar for this choir includes a competition in the fall, an annual show, and several community performances in the Great Bay Lakes Region (including singing the national anthem at Dow Diamond)! We currently rehearse from 7-9 pm every Wednesday at 500 W Midland Rd, Auburn MI 48611.

🎄🎅 CHRISTMAS MARKET!!! 🎅🎄

October 24th may be the last day of our 2026 Farmers Market season, but it's also our FIRST official Christmas Market, and we could not be more EXCITED!

We have SO many fun activities planned, and we can't wait to celebrate with you! From local heroes joining us for the Shop with a Hero Donation Drop, multiple food trucks serving specialty treats, a Christmas Phone Booth, mischievous market elves, Santa & Mrs. Claus, and the Harbor Sounds Chorus strolling the market with Christmas carols, to contests, prizes, our season finale Ball Drop, and of course, AMAZING vendors and Christmas shopping!

A special THANK YOU to our sponsor Szymanski's Creekside Acres for helping to decorate the market stage for a special photo-op! AND they will be there to take pre-orders for fresh, live wreaths, garland, porch pots, and grave blankets! You can also sign up for one of their Christmas workshops!

Pleased to share Harbor Sounds was invited to sing at Midland Manor Senior Community in Bay City this past Tuesday. We got to wear our new choir shirts and had a great time singing a nice variety of songs. Mixture even made an appearance and sang a couple songs. I hope our audience enjoyed it as much as we did.
