Auburn University will againand #160;waive its new student admission application fee for in-state residents,and #160;freshman or transfer students, Oct. 17-21.

Unfortunately due to date conflicts we are unable to hold the AU Honor Orchestra Festival this Spring.

However, we are now planning an early fall festival which will also include a day dedicated to masterclasses on the 2023 All-State Orchestra Festival audition materials.

UPDATE: Auditions for the AUYO'S 2021-2022 Season are moving online. Please register to audition at www.aub.ie/auyo2021 to make sure you receive instructions and an upload link for your video submission. Returning members should also plan on auditioning so we can set the seating for our first rehearsal.

Hi all. I hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of what has been a tough school year. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have still not yet received the video files od.our performance from the GPAC, but expect to do so soon. I will get the video posted as soon as I am able so you can share the performance with friends and family.

What a great first Honor String Orchestra Festival!! Thank you to all the parents for allowing me the opportunity to work with these wonderful musicians, and to the teachers for helping prepare the students for a long weekend of playing. Thanks also to the Department of Music, the Department of Curriculum & Teaching, and the great people at the Gogue Performing Arts Center for your support and assistance. Finally, thanks to the AU students that gave up their time to assist in so many ways - Kylan Bigby, Sam Gantt, Mattie Hines, Derrick Smith, Lake Black, Hannah Smith, and Elizabeth Hartfield.

Can't wait for the next one!
