Swipe for a comparison of before, and after putting the burnt umber glaze on and working back and do it. This piece has come along way in the past few days. I always struggle with the cohesiveness of a piece. And I also tend to make things lighter than they need to be. Glazing the burnt umber over the entire piece and really pushing it back and then bring it back back out again. Really helped ground the figure. And it’s starting to feel a lot more natural and how I imagined this piece to be. I am very excited about where this is going. And these new techniques that I’m learning.
