The Mini Artists Club Welcome to TMAC Process Art Studio where we do fun art, not fine art! We are thrilled you are here! Creativity takes Courage! We believe every child is an artist!

In our studio we believe art is about the process and not the final product. There is so much that happens before an artist finally puts down their brush and says... 'ta-da!' and we are all about appreciating, embracing, and discovering new joy in every step of the day. as Piccaso (a world-famous artist) once said. We want our studio to be a place for fun, play, learning and joy to all our artists

. So here is how it all works...

We provide our students with quality, age-appropriate materials, teach them skills and techniques of how to use them, and give them an invitation to create. There is no right or wrong way to do it. It's perfect just the way an artist wants to finish it... and we are all going to celebrate the journey, the effort, and the uncountable choices and decisions the artist had to make to get there...

🏡✨ Building Little Houses, Big Imaginations! 🎨

Today in art class, our young artists learned how to draw and shade cubes and houses/cottages, practicing shape, form, dimension, and shading techniques.

Then came the fun part—FREE EXPRESSION! 💭🎨

Each artist transformed their basic cottage into something uniquely their own. We had everything from fairy houses and cozy camping cottages to houses with a little “dog bite” character! 🧚🏡🐶⛺

I love watching the kids take a skill we’ve practiced and then use their own imagination to turn it into something completely personal.

Learning the fundamentals + creative freedom = confident young artists! ❤️🎨

🍏 From Observation to Art! 🎨

Today in our watercolor class, our young artists slowed down and truly observed a green apple before bringing it to life on paper.

We explored still-life observation drawing while learning how artists create dimension, depth, and realistic form through shading techniques like:

✏️ Hatching
✏️ Cross-hatching
✏️ Stippling
✏️ Finger shading
✏️ Light and shadow

Then we put those skills into practice with watercolor! 🎨🍏

It’s amazing to see how a simple apple can become a lesson in observation, technique, patience, and artistic expression.

We’re not just making pretty pictures—we’re building real art skills, one brushstroke at a time. ❤️

Our first watercolor class was a sweet success! 🍉🎨

Today our young artists learned that watercolor isn't about perfection—it's about patience, observation, and letting creativity flow. With every brushstroke, simple watermelons became unique works of art, each reflecting the personality of the artist behind it.

Art teaches so much more than painting. It builds confidence, problem-solving skills, focus, and the courage to try something new.

What a beautiful start to our August–September watercolor journey. I can't wait to watch these artists grow over the next two months!

Every great artist begins by mastering the fundamentals.

This two-month studio session is thoughtfully designed to help young artists develop both technical skills and creative confidence through drawing and watercolor.

Students will explore:
• Foundational drawing techniques
• Observation and sketching skills
• Watercolor methods and brush control
• Color theory, light, and texture
• Creative expression through beautiful, process-focused projects

Our small classes provide personalized instruction in a calm, encouraging environment where children are inspired to slow down, observe, create, and take pride in their work.

As we wrap up our final day of Creative Club, my heart is so full. ❤️

Today, our artists created "When I Grow Up" vision collages—not just about future careers, but about the dreams, passions, adventures, and kind of people they hope to become.

Every collage was beautifully different, reminding us that there isn't one path to a meaningful life. Each child has unique gifts, big dreams, and a story that's still being written.

Thank you to every family who trusted us with your children this summer. It has been such a joy to watch their confidence grow, their creativity flourish, and their personalities shine through every project.

Keep creating. Keep dreaming. Keep believing in who you're becoming.

Today was one of those days I'll never forget. ❤️

Our "Paint Your Personality" session brought tears to my eyes. Watching each child express who they are through color, brushstrokes, and creativity was such a beautiful reminder that no two children are the same—and that's exactly how it should be.

There were no right or wrong answers. Just unique personalities, big imaginations, and hearts on canvas.

Every painting told a different story. Every child had something special to share. Seeing their individuality shine so brightly was the greatest masterpiece of all.

Thank you to every young artist who courageously shared a piece of who they are today. Keep creating, keep dreaming, and never be afraid to let your true colors shine. 🎨✨

Why are weekly classes more expensive than Summer creative club?

Summer creative club - 2 projects
Weekly classes - 4 projects

That's twice the material, set up, clean up and learning outcomes!!!

August-September we will be working on sketching and painting with water color. Let's begin this school year developing concentration and art skills that you can take anywhere.
Each artist will be getting their own water color set and brushes to practice at home too!!!
