I'm going to start posting some items for sale soon. I've not been to any guitar shows lately, but I have come across some interesting pieces that I would like to sell before I attend another one. All of these have been properly set up and are ready to go.

Early 70’s Electra SG
This is a true “Lawsuit” model (you can tell by the shape of the headstock it is a copy of the original, not a later redesign). Very good condition, original pickups and electronics, replaced tailpiece. An excellent playing guitar with slim 60’s style neck. - $425

2014 Gibson SG Special
TV Yellow, relic model. It looks and feels like an original 1958 model. Plays great and those P-90’s rock! With Gibson gig bag - $750

My buddy Joe and I will have a large booth there this weekend. We hope to see many of our friends there as well. The last show we were able to attend was The Amigos show almost two years ago. We plan to be at Guitarlington in October as well.

It’s been a while since I posted anything to this page so I thought I would share with you what I’ve been up to lately. I’ve been developing a unique guitar stand for my personal use and as I’ve shown it to others they suggested I make these available to others as well. The result is the “Big L Quick Stand.”

I have adapted my original design in order to make a more personalized, unique stand for very limited production. This particular stand is crafted from a single piece of cherry wood that I acquired from a local sawmill in northwest Missouri more 25 years ago. It had been air dried for several years before I bought it and is very pleasing to the eye. This stand will work for Mandolins, Ukuleles, Banjos, most thin Semi-Hollow and Solid bodied Electrics and Basses (most anything under 2 1/2” thick). I have two of these left for $49.99 each plus shipping (or local pickup). I also have enough of the cherry wood left to make a few more. Each one will be numbered and dated and can be made for acoustics as well. Let me know if you are interested or have any questions. I am currently negotiating for some locally harvested (here in southeast Oklahoma) Walnut that has been aging for about 20 years and hope to soon have some of that available as well (prices to be determined).

My buddy Joe and I are planning an exciting event in the near future. Between us we are really getting overloaded on some good lower priced items. We are wanting to hold a Parking Lot sale in front of his store in Purcell. It looks like between us we will have over 100 items priced below $100. There will likely be at least 50 items priced below $50. There will be guitars, basses, keyboards, PA equipment, recording equipment, amps, effect pedals and more. Some will be in need of minor repair or set up. We will also have many items in various price ranges completely set up and ready to go. In addition the store will be open to the public during the event. We are going to try to get it all together for next Saturday (September 13) but it is still up in the air. Let me know if you are interested and plan to come. We expect it to be a big event so tell your friends. We will also be buying certain instruments if you have anything to sell.

What a week! We just concluded a deal to buy out the entire musical inventory of a large pawn shop. We are still sifting through it all but the inventory includes guitars, basses, amps, pedals, keyboards, PA and recording equipment, and more. Many guitars from the eighties (think pointy!) most of the instruments will be very affordable and we will gladly put together complete packages, ready to go, at extremely competitive prices. We are contemplating a huge Guitar Show and Musicians Swap Meet in the future. Let me know if you are interested. Pass the word along to your friends.
