🚨 A NEW CHAPTER FOR FREEDOM RIDGE! 🚨

We are excited to officially introduce ourselves as the new owners of Freedom Ridge!

We’re Joe and Amy, and we are incredibly excited to take on this next chapter and continue building on what Freedom Ridge has already become. This property has so much potential, and we have some big ideas, a lot of energy, and a genuine love for bringing people together.

Our vision for Freedom Ridge is to continue creating a place where people can come out, have fun, make memories, enjoy the outdoors, and be part of something bigger than just an event or a weekend. 🛻🎸🇺🇸

We want to continue hosting the events and experiences that people have come to know and enjoy, while also growing the property and introducing new ideas along the way. From off-road events and family-friendly activities to music, camping, community gatherings, and some things we aren't quite ready to reveal yet 👀, we see a lot of exciting possibilities ahead.

Most importantly, we want Freedom Ridge to be a place that feels welcoming to everyone. Whether you've been coming here for years or haven't visited yet, we hope you'll join us as we continue to grow, improve, and put our own stamp on this incredible property.

And we won't be doing it alone! Our five kids and grandchild will all be part of this journey right alongside us. ❤️ This is truly becoming a family adventure, and we're excited for the memories we'll make together, the lessons we'll learn, and hopefully the traditions we can create along the way. You may see all of us around the property, lending a hand, working behind the scenes, helping with events, or simply enjoying everything Freedom Ridge has to offer.

This won't happen overnight, and we're sure there will be plenty of learning, hard work, dirt, mud, and probably a few surprises along the way. 😂 But we're excited for the journey and can't wait to share it with all of you.

Freedom Ridge Announcement
Please join us in congratulating Amy and Joe Crusoe of Atwater, Minnesota, on their purchase of Freedom Ridge!
The Crusoes represent three generations of members of the River Runners 4x4 Club, and we couldn't be happier to see Freedom Ridge pass into their hands. Amy and Joe plan to continue operating the facility as an off-road park and will be keeping the Freedom Ridge name that has meant so much to all of us over the past 12 years. We know they'll bring fresh ideas, new energy, and a bright future to the park. Please join us in wishing them every success in this exciting new chapter.
As we close this chapter, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make Freedom Ridge what it is today.
A special thank you to my wife, Brenda, for supporting me through countless holiday weekends spent away from home. Thank you to my partners, whose commitment made this dream possible. We are also deeply grateful to the Minnesota 4WD Association for their continued support and for the Spring Conventions that helped our park grow over the years.
To our friends from the River Runners 4x4 Club—thank you for your hard work and dedication from day one. There are far too many people to name individually, and we apologize to anyone we may unintentionally leave out. However, we would be remiss if we didn't recognize Mark Johnson for his extraordinary commitment, countless hours of help, and, most importantly, his friendship.
While we're saying goodbye to Freedom Ridge, we're excited for what's ahead. Our focus will now shift to our property in Houston, Minnesota, where we'll continue building new opportunities for the off-road community.
We look forward to seeing everyone at our Rubicon Rendezvous event on September 19–20!

Memorial weekend at the Yucatan in Houston County! Yes, that's right we will be open for wheeling at the Houston property. This place is steep inclines, narrow shelf roads and switchbacks. Best suited for short wheelbase vehicles (Jeeps, Broncos) full size vehicles just don't fit. Nothing crazy tough, definitely set up for the jeeps that can drive in and wheel for the day. Best to have at least 33's and maybe a locker or two. Camping is very limited and will need to make arrangements ahead of time. Please let us know if you can make it out. There are hotels local and Coushins Campground nearby.
