☀️ School’s almost out, which means pool season is almost here!

The City of Attleboro’s pools open for the summer on Saturday, June 27th! Whether you’re looking to cool off, splash with the kids, swim laps, or simply enjoy a sunny afternoon, we’ve got a pool for you. 😎

📍 Briggs Pool
📍 Spatcher Memorial Pool
📍 Twin Village Pool

Daily open swim runs from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM until August 16th. Closing at 4pm on July 4th.

Season passes and daily admission are available, and Attleboro residents can enjoy access to all three pools with a season pass. Don’t forget that proof of residency is required for resident rates.

🎉🏓 The Wait is Over! 🏓🎉

Join us as we celebrate the re-grand opening of the Nickerson Pickleball Courts!

After months of planning, fundraising, construction, and a lot of community support, we’re excited to officially cut the ribbon and re-open the courts for play.

Attention Spring Sports Families - Athletic Fields Update

We know everyone is excited for spring sports to get underway, and we’re just as eager to see our fields full again.

While April 1st is always our goal for opening fields, that timeline remains weather dependent.

Before any activity can begin, fields must be thatched and swept. This step is critical - without it, grass will not grow in properly, and field conditions can be negatively impacted for the entire spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Due to snowmelt and early spring heavy rain, fields have been too saturated to safely get equipment on them. Over the weekend, conditions began to improve, and we were able to start thatching and sweeping yesterday at South Attleboro Veterans Memorial Park (Lee’s Pond), a site that drains faster than others and could handle the equipment first.

We are closely watching the weather and planning our work accordingly. We also remain in close communication with youth league leadership, and fields will be released as they become ready. Our goal is to get everyone out and active as quickly as possible while also protecting the long-term health and playability of our fields.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, we’ll continue to keep you updated as progress continues.
