Fulmer Photography (Ortonville, MI) is our most favorite photographic artist and an accomplished graphic designer. We also love to support and share news of our artist friends around Michigan and beyond. The upstairs of the Gallery House has a wonderful studio space especially nice for traditional painting and drawing due to the lovely north-facing windows. Behind the Gallery House is our larger workshop housing additional spaces for glass studio work, another large letterpress studio, metal fab facilities, and large woodworking shop filled with 19th and 20th century tooling. We were crushed to lose a major part of the Gallery House family with the loss of Mara's husband, Steven T. James on May 25, 2025. A consummate woodworker, metalworker, and creative ceramicist, he will be dearly missed but his impact on the Gallery House project and Mara's letterpress studios will be felt for years to come.
