About the artist:
Marcos Monteiro is a fine art painter, commercial and publishing illustrator with more than 35 years of experience. Working primarily in oils, his work explores portraiture, the human figure, landscapes, seascapes, and still life, with an emphasis on character, emotion, light, and atmosphere.

Marcos also teaches oil painting classes and workshops at Stockton University’s Noyes Arts Garage in Atlantic City and the Ocean City Arts Center. His work reflects a lifelong dedication to painting, drawing, and capturing the expressive beauty of the world around him.

This monthly program is hosted by multidisciplinary artist, content creator, and educator, Dimitri Reyes.

Beyond the Business Card is an energetic, fast-paced speed networking experience introduced by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber to help members expand their connections in a meaningful and efficient way. Held on the second Tuesday of every month from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM, this program creates a structured yet engaging environment where professionals can meet new contacts, exchange insights, and build relationships that support business growth.

Local teachers from Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School attended a professional development workshop held at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University this Monday where they learned kinusaiga from teaching artist Jane Medio. 🪡

Kinusaiga is a contemporary Japanese textile technique created by Maeno Setsu in 1987 that combines elements of traditional textile techniques with modern materials and methods. Using fabric, each participant created these layered and textural collages.
