Atlantic and Cape May Counties hosted a closing reception to celebrate Youth Art Month on Saturday, March 28th, at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University. The exhibition showcased the artwork of K-12th-grade students taught by Art Educators of New Jersey (AENJ) members. Participating schools included Pleasantville High School, Leeds Avenue Elementary of Pleasantville, Atlantic County Special Services School District, Northfield Community School, Ocean City Primary School, West Cape May Elementary School, and Cape May City Elementary School. As a non-profit association established in 1939, the AENJ advocates for visual arts education in the state. The organization aims to promote and maintain high-quality visual arts instruction in New Jersey's schools. Teachers can visit www.aenj.org to learn more about the AENJ and participate in next year's Youth Art Month Exhibit.
