A piece of Music & Arts history.

In 2003, Olivier Latry played the inaugural recital on the Mander organ at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. More than two decades later, we’re getting ready to welcome him back.

This original recital program offers a glimpse into Latry’s first performance here, and makes his return on October 25 all the more special.

Internationally acclaimed French organist and longtime titular organist at Notre-Dame in Paris, Latry has built a remarkable career as a performer, improviser, and adventurous musician.

We’re excited to hear what he brings to the Sanctuary this time around.

What a wonderful first Sunday welcoming our new Director of Music, James Kennerley, to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church!

With brass filling the sanctuary, beautiful music, and plenty of excitement in the room, it was a joyful beginning to a new chapter in the music ministry at PRUMC.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make James’ first Sunday so special, and we’re looking forward to all that’s ahead. Welcome to PRUMC, James! James Kennerley

Join us on November 1 for a beautiful evening of music, worship, and community as we gather for the Feast of All Saints.

The evening begins with an organ recital at 4:30 p.m., followed by Choral Evensong at 5:00 p.m. featuring the PRUMC Chancel Choir and Georgia Boy Choir.

As part of this special service, we will also recognize and offer a blessing for the letters written for All Souls’ Post Office, honoring the memories, loved ones, and stories held within them.

We hope you’ll join us as we come together to reflect, remember, and celebrate. All are welcome.

A few moments from a very special evening at Peachtree Road.

On September 13, our church community gathered to celebrate Scott Atchison and his remarkable 44 years as Director of Music and Choirmaster at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.

Through beautiful music, special guests, heartfelt reflections, and the dedication of the great organ in his honor, the evening was a meaningful celebration of Scott’s years of leadership and service.

As we look back on this memorable night, we are grateful for the music, traditions, and lasting legacy Scott has shared with our church community for more than four decades.

The 2026–2027 Music & Arts season begins with an extraordinary evening of organ music.

Join us Sunday, October 25 at 7:30 PM for a recital by internationally acclaimed French organist Olivier Latry.

Named titular organist at Notre-Dame in Paris at just 23 years old, Latry has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors, and earned a reputation as an exceptional improviser and adventurous musician.

We’re thrilled to welcome him to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church for the first concert of our new season.

What a beautiful evening celebrating 44 remarkable years of music and ministry.
On September 13, we gathered to celebrate Scott Atchison and his distinguished career as Director of Music and Choirmaster at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church as he begins his retirement.

The evening was filled with beautiful music, special guests, heartfelt words, and cherished memories. It was also a meaningful occasion when the great organ in the Sanctuary was named in Scott’s honor.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Scott and the lasting legacy he leaves with our church and community. What a gift these 44 years have been

We’re honored to welcome Jeanné Brown to Scott’s Farewell Concert.

Since her professional debut with Robert Shaw, Jeanné has captivated audiences across the U.S., Europe and Japan, performing on renowned stages including Carnegie Hall, La Scala and the Kennedy Center. A beloved presence at Peachtree Road, her voice has blessed our congregation through countless concerts and worship services.

We can’t wait to hear Jeanné’s beautiful voice fill Peachtree Road as she sings “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hand”. Join us Sunday, September 13, as we celebrate Scott and his remarkable tenure.
