“I want to talk to all of us, people on the left and the right, because I think what we’re dealing with right now is not the difference between right and left. It’s really the difference between right and wrong. It’s wrong to crush people. And I think it’s really too bad when my party cedes so much of the faith and values, space and language to those on the right, especially since more often than not, in my view, they’ve got it wrong.”
In a recent interview with NPR, Senator Raphael Warnock reflected on faith, politics, and the moral questions at the heart of American life.
Join us this Saturday, June 20 at 6 PM at Glenn Memorial Church as A Ca****la Books hosts Senator Warnock’s first Atlanta book launch event for “The Crooked Places Made Straight: Reflections on the Moral Meaning of America.” He’ll be joined in conversation by Carol Anderson.
