Kasey L. Martin was featured by FilmFreeway for their ATLFF 2025 Georgia Short Film Award Jury Special Mention for the film SWIMMING HOLES.

The film follows Destiny's journey after her grandmother’s passing to Hawaii to reconnect with her estranged sister and discover unexpected paths to healing.

Swimming Holes was created without a traditional script or outline. Kasey had the story and developed a logline, synopsis, story beats, and character profiles. She shared this with the actors, but everything else unfolded naturally. A lot of the conversations in the film were completely in the moment. Most interactions were not staged.
