This Halloween, sketch comedy just got a lot spookier - and funnier - in this collection of stories only at Atlanta's Dad's Garage.

The Bottle Tree is an intimate, hair-raising theatrical experience of original laughs and thrills sure to send tingles down your spine. This show weaves a web of independent stories created from the imaginations and comedy chops of a cast of gleefully unhinged writer-performers ready to draw you into the story. BlackGround! This Thursday, October 15 at 8 p.m.! Amena Brown is classin' up the show and making it that much funnier with her presence and her work as our special guest this week.

Amena Brown is a hilarious, down-to-earth writer and stage performer whose brand centers joy, creativity, and an effortless cool. A proud graduate of Spelman College and previous poetic partner for Tracee Ellis Ross’ natural hair brand, PATTERN Beauty. Her new book of comedic essays, Never Tell a Black Girl How to Black Girl, received a Kirkus starred review. As a stage performer, Amena takes arenas, theaters, and performance venues and turns them into living rooms where the audience can make themselves at home. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband DJ Opdiggy.

Are you ready for the October 18 Spooktacular? It's coming up soon!

Fall-themed crafts, carnival-style games (with prizes!), immersive family-friendly comedy theatre, and more is coming to Dad's Garage in the heart of Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward. We'll even have food trucks from Tex's Tacos, a pop cart from King of Pops, and refreshments and snacks in the Dad's Garage lobby.

Dad's Garage is joining forces with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Halloween, Hogwarts & More, the first of the ASO's Family Concert Series for 2026-27.

We're beyond excited to perform onstage alongside these illustrious musicians and expand the horizons of young listeners and arts patrons this October 25!

Fall break is next week, and so are our improv camps!

We believe in the power of improv to boost confidence and communication for performers of all ages, and our camps are a perfect way for young performers to engage with the art and with their peers in a fun, hands-on way. Grades 3-5 and 6-8 can make the most of the time away from school with us at our five-day camps this October 12-16.

Sign your camper up for a week filled with improv games, performance exercises, and collaborative storytelling at Dad's Garage - and then perform in a showcase for friends and family at the end of the week!

React Theatre is officially opening this week! On Friday, October 9, join us for our Grand Opening and first official improv show in the React space.

The Dynamic, Bi***es, and Referential take the new stage in a cavalcade of improv comedy for its maiden voyage at 8:30 p.m. This celebration of the space is your first chance to come see what we've changed, and get a sense for where it's going.

Tickets are available on the Dad's Garage website (we have a special calendar for React events.) Patrons are encouraged to park in the Dad's Garage parking lot, grab a drink and a snack from the Dad's Garage lobby, and then walk down the street to The React space for the event.

We can't wait!
