September at Dad's Garage starts off strong with...a dark weekend at the theatre. Wow! It's like we don't even do anything around here!
Just kiddin' - after the Wednesday performance of The Tight Acquaintances featuring Mark Meer, we'll be performing at Dragon Con on Labor Day weekend. But the moment we come back, we're off to the races with new and exciting shows designed in our theatre lab to make you laugh.
🎉 Tuesdays
We're interrupting your regularly-scheduled Tuesday community jams for a special improv show and food/craft market in celebration of Latino and Hispanic Heritage month on September 22!
👑 Wednesdays
Maestro dominates with free-for-all competitive improv. Who will be declared the new Maestro every night?
⬛ Thursdays
BlackGround's back! Where the hell has it been? This pop-culture-addicted all-Black improv troupe is ready to add some color and hilarity to the classic, mostly-white hit movies that most need an injection of improv...and culture. Don't let that last Wednesday performance trip you up - it's not a mistake. Insert Laugh Here is making the most of the final Thursday of the month.
🍽️ Fridays
SCANDAL! The Bare Season 2 is made to order at 8 p.m starting September 11. We loved spoofing FX's The Bear so much that we just couldn't stop, so Shermie and the W.T.Fridays crew are back for new outlandish restaurant mishaps!
The 10 p.m. this month is a potpourri of fun - including an all new Road Trip, Catch23, and a specialty improv show featuring Maged Roushdi and Tim Stoltenberg doing improv and drinking at the same time in Four Glasses.
🎲 Saturdays
The Tight Acquaintances continue their improvised fantasy journey across dimensions at 8 p.m. as Chaos Quest concludes, and then at 10 p.m., we're gettin' NARSTY!
Narsty! is a long form improv show about you. Specifically, it's about whatever is cool, but also weird, about you, about your life, or about something that happened to you. Come tell us about your week and help us get narsty with it.
In October, our new seasonal sketch show, The Bottle Tree, creeps in like the fog to capture your imagination and tingle your spine all month long on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 p.m. Oh, and Felt Street comes back! Yay, puppets!
