Sofar Sounds Atlanta Bringing local artists & audiences together to create intimate, live performances in secret spaces. Songs From a Room began in March 2009 in London.

It is an innovative concept, dedicated to bringing the best of new music to an unplugged and intimate private setting. Mix in a crowd of dedicated music lovers, other artists, and industry professionals, and you have an evening which promises electric performances and new networks. Past Performers:

Today’s Sofar Backyard Open Mic has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 24th.

We’ve been in love with all the submissions, and we’re excited to bring our first Sofar Open Mic to life! 🎤

Here’s how it works:

Two featured artists will have scheduled performance times, plus we’ll have a limited open mic for those ready to take the stage.

• Open mic sign-ups begin at 7:30 PM
• Sign-ups close promptly at 8:00 PM when the show begins
• Each open mic act gets 5 minutes max
• Slots are limited and close once the list is full
• Live music only — no backing tracks

A few things to know:
• Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee an open mic performance slot.
• Only performers who make the final list will perform.
• Bring your instrument and come ready to share your music.

Grab your ticket, bring a friend, and come ready to listen, perform, picnic, and enjoy the night. 🌿🎶

In THREE days, Sofar Open Mic is happening! Are you ready to take the stage? The location stays secret until 36 hours before the show, but once you arrive, you’ll be settling in for an outdoor, bring-your-own-chair, BYOB, pack-a-picnic kind of night.

Here’s how it works:

- Two featured artists will have a scheduled time to perform, plus we’ll have a limited open mic for those who want to take the stage.
- Open mic sign-ups begin at 7:30 PM and close promptly at 8:00 PM when the show begins.
- Grab a ticket, bring a friend and get ready to enjoy the music OR perform the music.

A few important things:
• Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee a performance slot.
• Open mic slots are limited and only those who fit on the final list will perform.
• Each open mic act gets 5 minutes max.
