Thank you to our dynamic “A Day of Respect” honoree, State Rep. for inviting us to participate in this awe inspiring, immersive day of the arts during his “Get On the Bus” iniative! So much connection and networking was established both during the “Colors in Film, TV & Music” panel at the Georgia State Capitol and the incredibly enlightening private tour of studios ! It was such an honor for both our Founder, Monique and artistic director .wit.dew to be able to give words of encouragement to the panel audience! Thank you for the powerful inspiration from the presenting community leaders, producers and entertainment industry moguls that were a part of the panel! Those privileged to experience your light truly left with renewed purpose and spirit! Thank you for the love from our new Savannah friends ( 2 busloads of beautiful people from Savannah were brought in by Mr. Gilliard for the experience)! What an amazing, purpose filled and motivational experience for all present! 💜💫

During this Women's History Month (and everyday), we proudly honor our dynamic collaborator & community programming artistic partner, , a visionary multi-disciplinary artist whose work continues to inspire, heal & connect communities worldwide!

A Filipino-American artist of richly diverse heritage, Chalice is an acclaimed composer, educator & creative force whose music has amassed over 400 million streams worldwide. From her viral breakout "Swagg" to her genre-bending catalog, her sound has become a powerful foundation for the global dance community. Her compositions have been featured across world-renowned platforms including World of Dance, Hip Hop International, Red Bull BC One, KOD (Keep on Dancing) & more! Her work has also been prominently placed in broadcast/ film with credits spanning Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, Bravo Housewives franchise, & major studios/ networks including Disney, Pixar, as well as international programming such as Pilipinas Got Talent.

She has performed at iconic historic landmarks such as St. Paul's Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral Square & Notre Dame, as well as league sports arenas & university campuses across the U.S., Canada & Europe.

We are honored to collaborate with Chalice across multiple impactful initiatives. She was a featured creative collaborator in our "Can't Stop, Won't Stop: The Legacy of Hip Hop" theatrical production during our Hip Hop Arts Conference and served as a panelist for our “ Entrepreneurship in the Arts" discussion at ( hosted by Prof. T. Lang) , pouring wisdom into the next generation. During this Women’s History Month ( and everyday) , ViZion Dance Inc proudly honors our incredible longtime advisor and Youth Programming Director, Honey Rockwell, a true pioneer, educator, and guardian of Hip Hop culture. 💫

Born and raised in the South Bronx, Honey began her journey as a gymnast and dancer at just 7 years old, later becoming a legendary B-Girl whose impact spans decades. From performing in the iconic Off-Broadway production Jam on the Groove to touring nationally and internationally, appearing in film and television, and being a member of the world-renowned Rock Steady Crew and Seven Gems , her legacy is deeply woven into the fabric of Hip Hop history.

As co-founder of Rockwell Dance Academy (RDA) alongside her husband B-Boy Orko, as well as through her national Rock Da Floor Youth Dance Battles, Honey continues to pour into the next generation, preserving the authenticity of Hip Hop while cultivating young artists through education, mentorship, and global performance opportunities.

Through a powerful collaboration between RDA and ViZion Dance Inc, Rock-A-ViZion Productions was formed, creating original productions, professional performance opportunities, and education-based tours for emerging artists on local, national, and international stages. This work is further amplified through the SPARK Artist Empowerment Program and the annual Hip Hop Arts Conference, both designed to equip, elevate, and inspire the next generation of creatives and cultural leaders.

Inducted into the Breaking Hall of Fame and a featured panelist at the Kennedy Center, Honey’s influence reaches far beyond the stage. We celebrate you, Honey Rockwell, for your brilliance, your legacy, and your unwavering commitment to empowering youth through the arts. ✨🔥

Happy Birthday to our phenomenal Dr. Patricia L. Evans Polk! 🎉🌸 During this Women’s History Month, ViZion Dance Inc & ViZion Dance International proudly celebrates our devoted Board Member and longtime champion of our health and wellness programming.

A native of Griffin, Georgia, Dr. Evans Polk is a graduate of Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry, and later obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. With over 25 years of practice, she is the owner of Healing Hands Chiropractic and Wellness Center, serving communities in Stockbridge and Griffin, Georgia. Her work is rooted in a natural, holistic approach while promoting spinal alignment, disease prevention, and overall wellness without reliance on drugs or unnecessary surgery.

Beyond her practice, Dr. Evans Polk is passionate about educating communities on the true benefits of chiropractic care, actively participating in health fairs at schools, churches, and organizations. Her dedication to empowering others through knowledge and wellness embodies the spirit of Women’s History Month. Happy Birthday to the incredible ! 🎉 During Women’s History Month ( and EVERY DAY) ViZion Dance International and ViZion Dance Inc are proud to celebrate a woman whose artistry, leadership, and dedication to education continue to inspire our community!

Cassandra is an award-winning international actress, educator, dancer, and filmmaker, and a graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. She currently serves as Manager of Consortial Services at the Georgia Film Academy, part of her ongoing commitment to enhancing excellence in education ( she also served as the Program Coordinator for the Film and Digital Media Center at Clayton State University). Throughout her dynamic career, from internships at CNN and Atlanta radio stations V-103 FM and WAOK 1380AM, to producing and hosting Atlanta Live on WATC TV 57, and founding Holy Hill Productions, she has remained devoted to storytelling, faith, and uplifting audiences.

A longtime member of ViZion Dance International and a ViZion Dance Inc. Advisory Board Member and “ A Day of Respect” Honoree, Cassandra also serves as the Atlanta Hollywood Prayer Network Chapter President, continuing to make an impact across the arts, media, and spiritual communities. ViZion Dance International was honored to participate in the proclamation ceremony for the EmpowerHER Exhibit presented by and curated by the brilliant . In celebration of women artists and their impact on our community, March 4 has officially been proclaimed EmpowerHER Appreciation Day in Fulton County! We are proud to be selected as a featured artist in this inspiring exhibition that uplifts the creative voices of women across disciplines.

Our dance documentary short film “I AM SHE: A Tribute to Dr. Doris A. Derby” (featuring our Ladies of ViZion) will be featured in the exhibit. This powerful work honors Dr. Derby’s extraordinary legacy as an educator, activist, artist, and civil rights era photographer whose life embodied passion, heart, desire, and determination in preserving African American arts and culture while celebrating Womanhood in its truest form during the civil rights movement !

The EmpowerHER Exhibit opens March 13 and runs through April 25, 2026 . Join us at the Opening Reception on March 13 at as we celebrate women in the arts and share this tribute to Dr. Derby’s enduring legacy through movement, music, and storytelling. ✨
