I haven’t made a post like this since college, but I’m currently going thru the worst art block I have had in YEARS… and it has a lot to do with the job I currently work at. It’s a good job to keep the bills paid but at the same time, it’s way too demanding of my time and energy. I took it for the wrong reasons. And now the lack of art output is starting to take a toll on me both mentally and emotionally and it’s starting to make me complacent. Part of me already knows what I have to do, but out of fear of being looked at differently by friends and family, I’m extremely hesitant. I just wanna get back to drawing and animating like I used to, but with the lack of energy and drive I find myself physically unable to create what I love. I’m still gonna try my best to keep the pieces coming, but im going to need some type of s**t to shake to get back to my old self. But anyway, thanks for listening to my Ted talk. I just thought I’d let the people asking for my work know that s**t isn’t as simple as it used to be. I have too many of yall showing so much love for me and my art and encouraging me to make something of myself from it and I love and appreciate yall so much for that. I simply refuse to give up on my dream to be an artist. Not yet…💯
