The Beauty in Silence...In this ever loquacious world, the moments we find ourselves in silence there is much to appreciate. Silence has a unique way with words.

The message of truths unintended will be received, as our actions speak so much louder than our words.

The silence of those taking steps to join our past allow the calls of the future to be heard.

Be silent in the Lord's presence and wait patiently for him.

So, tomorrow my sister finds out whether she is having a boy or a girl. I cried this morning, tears of exhilaration when I was reminded of this. Suddenly all negativity briefly dissipates.

So much emotion is poured into this day, just as much as the actual birth because that simple B or G on the sonogram reshapes everything from this point on. Our thoughts, imagination and daydreams, the colors we see, the words we speak, and our perception of the future. A milestone in the process of our lives changing direction. A subtle influence on our behaviour as we know it.

When I think of that little B or G I am overwhelmed with happiness. Ever so grateful for its beating heart, and intoxicated with anticipation for the next step...LIFE!
