Good morning, y’all, and Happy Sunday! ☕🐾

Well, this week didn’t exactly go the way I thought it would. I only got one day of work in. The rest of the week I spent waiting on the phone to ring, doing a little fishing, making some music, and probably thinking about life more than I needed to. 😂

Sitting at home with too much time on your hands will make a man do that.

But things are looking better. I’m officially in the company rotation now, so as long as there’s freight to move, I should be getting my three days a week. That’s what I signed up for, and I’m ready to get back at it.

So all is good. Sometimes you just have to give things a little time to fall into place.

For now, I’ve got a cup of coffee, Fonzie beside me, and a quiet Sunday morning. Hard to complain about that. 😊

Hope y’all have a peaceful Sunday. Whatever this past week handed you, leave a little of it behind and enjoy the day in front of you. ❤️

Fonzie and I are headed out to Lake Lanier to do a little fishing. Figure there are worse ways to spend a Thursday morning.

Fonzie thinks we’re getting ready to hit the road. He’s gonna be a little disappointed when he finds out we’re only taking the truck in for a check-up. 😂🐾

I was hoping to get a run today, but nothing has materialized yet. Still waiting, and I’ll admit, I’m starting to get a little nervous. Hopefully the phone rings soon.
