Our intimate, 833-seat performing arts venue is home to the Rialto Series, featuring performances by top artists from across the music and dance spectrum. Our mission is to inspire, educate and entertain diverse audiences by presenting innovative and exceptional arts programming and cultivating community partnerships. Our nationally renowned arts programming is carefully curated to appeal to diverse audiences and represent the widest possible array of artistic styles and genres. Our intimate, 833-seat performing arts venue is home to the Rialto Series, featuring the best of national and international jazz, world music and dance; Georgia State’s School of Music performances; and serves as the downtown go-to venue for other arts organizations’ performances, visiting companies and independent film screenings. Each year, the Rialto Center presents the Rialto Series–a unique subscription series featuring world-class artists, presenting an eclectic mix of world music, jazz, contemporary dance, and international programs, as well as media arts. In addition, the Rialto offers innovative educational programs to students and the general public. The Rialto is proud of its fast-growing reputation as the arts center that brings once-in-a-lifetime cultural experiences to the southeast and challenges patrons to expand their artistic worldview. As always, Take 6 sang the house down! It was a wonderful evening of laughs, music, and a special birthday celebration for Claude McKnight. We were honored to be a part of the celebration and to bring these legendary voices back to Downtown Atlanta.

Some movies are just better on the big screen. This Thursday, bring a friend and join us at the Rialto for Mel Brooks’ "Young Frankenstein", a comedy classic packed with unforgettable characters, ridiculous moments and plenty of laughs.

And make a night of it: come early to explore HARRY UNDERWOOD: The Design of Destiny art exhibit and catch a special artist talk with Harry Underwood at 5:30 P.M., then settle in for the film at 7:30 p.m.

Make a night of the arts at the Rialto.

On October 8, spend the evening immersed in art and film. Start with HARRY UNDERWOOD: The Design of Destiny during special gallery hours from 4–7 p.m., including an artist talk with Harry Underwood. Then, at 7:30 p.m., settle in for Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein (1974) as we launch the new Rialto Film Series.
