Last month, my friend Chavonne White hosted her The Tasting event at Finally W**e, and we changed our Monday blues by pairing w**es with sliders. 🍷

The food was delicious, sliders made by Jaleesa Taylor, and the whole event was so much fun. There was trivia, discussions about the structure of w**e, and plenty of time to just talk, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company.

I know I’m so behind on posting everything lately, but I did not want to miss the chance to share this one.

During my time in Cartagena, Colombia, I went on a tour with Beyond the Wall Cartagena. One of the exciting things I did was go to the Bazurto Market. This place was a hustling and bustling hub for everything you could ever imagine.

One place we stopped at was a juicing stand. This man has been in this business for like 15, 20 years, always using fresh local fruit to make juices, and it’s a very popular, busy stand. I was able to try some of the local fruits, and this curuba fruit was just one of many.

This is going to be such a wonderful afternoon tea experience with delicious snacks because they ALWAYS have the best food! You will leave full and happy.

And the teas are incredible too. In this video, I’m drinking the Gilded Rose Reserve Tranquil Turmeric, which is great for anti-inflammation, and honestly every tea they have is tasty and comes with its own health benefits.

I’m so looking forward to this theme. Last year they did Harry Potter and it was so well done, so I cannot wait to see how they bring Alice in Wonderland to life in the garden.

And don’t mind me, I’m out in my own garden in rain boots because it just rained, but honestly? Perfect way to set the scene for Alice in Wonderland. 🐇☔

I teamed up with Adobe to show you how I edit my short-form content using Premiere Pro, right from my phone. 📱

Whether it’s for YouTube, Instagram, or whatever platform it may be, you can utilize Adobe Premiere Pro. It has everything you need inside the app to make a successful edit, including templates that make life so much easier. As a creative, and as humans in general, we are busy, and having tools that simplify the process makes such a difference.

[HOSTED] Cartagena, Colombia, my time there was everything! 🇨🇴

Even though it was less than 24 hours, I loved every bit of it with Beyond the Wall Cartagena Tour. We went to the Walled City, we saw Barrio Chino, and made our way to the Bazurto Market, which was such an incredible journey. Plus, I got an incredible piece of art from the Bazurto Market and ate at a place the late Anthony Bourdain enjoyed.

It’s been over 20 years since I went to Niagara Falls (yeah I may be telling on my age a bit) and I must say I was amazed!

This year, we took a family trip to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 and there were so many more activities than what I remember from you know…20 years ago!

And as a solo traveler, I was glad to have my family time with an ounce of solo time on the side!

It has been such an incredibly busy summer that I haven’t even been able to truly come on here and say it. Your girl has a WSET 2 award in w**e, with Merit!

It wasn’t even easy taking WSET 2 with constant movement at my job, news that impacted my day to day life, and my birthday, all happening around the same time I was studying for this. But your girl pulled through and now has a WSET 2 with Merit. 🍷

Now it’s time to keep practicing and studying online to build on it even more. This is just the beginning!
