I'm excited and honored to showcase my artwork in the Ascend 2021 Auction going live on Monday, Oct. 18th!
This piece is entitled "Young Kings," and 100% of the proceeds will go towards NBAF’s mission to empower black artist nationwide! The link is in the bio.
Young Kings:
From Ponce De Leon to Ralph David Abernathy, bike culture is pumping hard through the heart of Atlanta. This picture was captured on a Sunday afternoon in Gordon-White park during the summer of 2021. This piece is entitled Young Kings because they rule the streets they ride.

Photography is the art of capturing storied images. People should feel something when they see the work. If my art does that for you, come to on July 16th and 17th. I'll have 11 pieces on display. They'll all be looking for new homes. So come out, enjoy, and collect.
This image was taken at Gordon-White park in Atlanta. A group of young men were doing bike stunts, hanging out, and enjoying their Friday afternoon. Seeing them reminded me of being an adolescent in Baltimore, MD. I used to take my bike to Luckman Park off of Glen Avenue and hit the bike jumps, pop wheelies, and bust my ass in the process. I was young and free and I felt invincible. The good 'ol days.
Shout out to and his crew for letting me take the shots. Respect to the young kings✊🏽
