GAY BAR 2012 is FRIDAY at LORE, so it’s time for the LOOKBOOK drop! *feat archival footage from Atlanta’s own Jungle in 2012 (RIP)—former home of THE OTHER SHOW. You might spot some familiar faces. 👀

Remember that we are traveling back in time and do not want to alarm the citizens of 2012 to our presence! ⊹ ࣪ ˖⏱ ୭˚. ᵎ

Dress the part and avoid disrupting the space-time continuum. It’s 2012 where we’re going, so think party rock “swag,” glitter, galaxy prints, shutter shades, leopard print, and shiny belts with low cut jeans. ૮ ˙Ⱉ˙ ა rawr!

Dance all night to what is playing at the GAY BAR in 2012. Gaga. Rihanna. Ke$ha. Carly Rae. 1D. Calvin Harris. J Lo. Disclosure. Charli XCX. Icona Pop. And all the q***r hits that came before.

Presales are moving fast so get yours now. Free shutter shades to the first ~100 through the door. Tix at link in bio or loreatl.com

ⴵ The q***r time machine takes off Friday at 11pm ⴵ

PARTY LIKE IT’S 2012 AT A GAY BAR. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18.

It’s the second edition of LORE and Atlanta Dance Cult’s new GAY BAR dance party series!

Step into our q***r-af time machine and get dropped at a GAY BAR in the year WHO-KNOWS-WHEN?

Each and every GAY BAR party, no matter the year you find yourself, will be a testament to the music, the looks, and the vibes of another era. Because while things may change, the love, fun, and community at the GAY BAR transcend time.

For the second installment, we’re headed back to the year 2012. The world didn’t end. We found love in a hopeless place. Glitter and glow sticks. We lived young, wild, and free.

Devon Rex will be spinning all the hits that you’d hear at the GAY BAR in 2012 including the hottest “new releases” from the likes of Rihanna, LMFAO, Katy Perry, Gaga, 1D, Ke$ha, and all your favs. It’s like your iPod touch is back on shuffle.

Dress the part so no one suspects you’re a time traveler. Think snapbacks, ripped skinny jeans, shutter shades, skater shirts, neon, and GLITTER GLITTER GLITTER. Keep an eye out for the official lookbook drop for inspiration.

And stick around until the end, when we’ll spin the QUEERDOMETER to find out what year we’ll be dropping into the GAY BAR next time.
