MAShysteria is a cross-cultural / cross-national Masquerade Band that will be making its inaugural appearance on the streets of Atlanta for the 2014 Atlanta Caribbean Carnival season. Founded in October 2013 by three friends with a deep love and passion for Carnival and Caribbean culture itself, our MAShysteria crew is made up of individuals from all walks and cultures of life. nival and Community is every evident in our community service projects and also in the efforts that we put forward in developing and supporting a strong Caribbean experience for current and future generations. At MAShysteria, our primary objective is to showcase the arts and creativity of the Caribbean Islands through our costumed presentation. In doing so, we hope to engage the minds of both young and old in the many cultures of the Caribbean islands and around the world. It is also our ambition to lend support where needed by volunteering our time and services, as well as mentoring the young people of our communities so as to ensure success in their futures.
