What Just Happened?

I blinked, and a year has gone by with no other posts. Dayum, my brain is crazy! I did locate an outline of lots of stories to share in a draft that I made the last time I was here - clearly, I have a lot to talk about! But I haven't. Figured since I was here, I'd at least say HI! I am in my capstone class of grad school - perhaps I will make it! I will let you know.

Storm protocol:

Emergency services will be VERY busy with emergencies. Please note the following:

Power out is not an emergency. Live wire on the ground IS an emergency. Power out where a medical patient relies on
Power to live IS an emergency.

Tree down on a parked empty car is not an emergency. Tree down on an occupied car IS an emergency.

Tree down on a house is not an emergency. Tree down on a house with a person trapped IS an emergency. Tree down on a house with live power lines snapping & popping and/or fire IS an emergency.

Tree down across a road- believe it or not- is not an emergency. Public works will be notified by emergency services and will get to it as soon as they can.

If it is a property problem- it is NOT an emergency.

If it is a Human Life problem- it IS an emergency.

Please stay safe. If you need 911, call 911. If it can wait- let it wait!
