I know many of you have been on the edge of your seat expecting this so...

Thunderdome is simply waiting for a few pieces to be confirmed and then that too will be updated. The AWA site should reflect this once everything is confirmed for Thunderdome.

The contest dates have been finalized!!
Rules will follow in a day or two, but as stated there are no substantial changes for 2021. If there are any questions, the rules (to follow soon) should answer them.

Peer Review Online deadline is:
Sunday September 19, 2021 @11:59pm (edt)

Expo & Masters deadline:
Sunday September 26, 2021 @11:59pm (edt)

I've recieved numerous questions about the PRO dates. Including a rumor that the deadlines have been set for August.

At this time the rules are in the process of being finalized but have not yet been posted. However the convention happens at the end of October (28th-31st to be exact) and a 3 month lead time is excessive even by VHS era standards.

The full rules and dates will be available quite soon. Please be patient as they will be posted here and in the VAT discord first prior to being available on the awa-con.com website. Like and follow this page to be updated when the rules and details come available.

This afternoon at 3pm (est) the Video Art Track: Gala Awards Show is finally here!
The initial broadcast will happen at 3pm over on the VAT's new Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/thevideoarttrack

Subsequently, for those unable to make it to the initial broadcast there will be a version of the awards show live on YouTube at 4pm:
